Live from New York, It's Laguna Beach!!!
Please put me down as one of those who was disappointed with the Laguna Beach season finale…MTV bled this season dry of any drama left before hyping their commercial free season finale…They even had a live studio audience and promised a special guest, as well as a ‘special surprise’…
Anyway, I think Teen Wolf summed the finale up best: “It was just bitches crying…It was pretty awful and I should have watched Las Vegas instead…” (For those of you who are thinking that Las Vegas comes on an hour earlier than Laguna, Teeny had recorded Las Vegas since it was on at the same time as Prison Break…)
After 20 minutes of goodbyes and excessive crying, MTV cut back to Carson Daly or Simon Rex or whoever that dick with ears was, and asked a couple audience members what they thought…Of course, these two idiots weren’t going to say anything bad about the show and therefore said that they loved it, while one of the guys next to them admitted he cried a little bit…
We then got to see some clips of Season 3, and my first impression is that you can count me in, despite my disappointment from the season 2 finale…It looks like we'll be treated to much of the same as season 2—a few different sets of girls being bitches to each other—but for some reason, I’m sure I’ll be watching…
Next, the special guest turned out to be ‘Lauren,’ and I was confused for a second, until I remembered Lauren is LC’s first name…By the way, LC apparently has a younger sister, and it appears that lil’ sis will be a main character on Season 3…However, I wonder if she'll go by her actual name or if she'll be referred to as “LC’s Sister,” similar to how one of the Alex’s on Season 2 was always referred to as “Kristin’s Friend” or how Conrad was always referred to as “Jason’s Friend”...
Anyway, Simon Rex then asked LC about her experiences with all the cameras following her around and she said it was fun, but that it was also time to move on, leading us to the big surprise: “The Hills”...
Apparently, even though it was time to move on from the cameras, LC’s new life in LA will be featured on MTV’s upcoming show “The Hills,” debuting this spring on MTV…I like LC, and she’s cool and all, yet I don’t really know if I’m going to be watching this show…
Judging from the following comments, I don’t think Teen Wolf was too thrilled with this new show idea either: “They should follow one of those dumb girls around instead…Or go watch Kristin be a whore in college…Or watch Jessica’s…” (Ummm, yeah, that’s a good place to stop quoting Teeny…)
Anyway, I might watch a couple episodes of "The Hills"—especially considering the fact that it will be on this spring while Season 3 of Laguna Beach won’t debut til the summer—but if I had it my way, Season 3 would start during Christmas break, just in time for the end of finals…
