--I usually try to stay away from anything that has to do with the race card, but this article really stood out to me today, especially after taking a closer look at Notre Dame's schedule the other night...

--Also, the only thing I really wanted to say regarding Fisher DeBerry's comments last week, whether you think there was some truth to what he said or not, was that it was the first time in a while that I'd heard the term 'Afro-Americans'...

--When ESPN broke the news last Wednesday of Sheryl Swoopes's big announcement, the story didn't garner the same attention on the Houston Chronicle website due to Game 4 of the World Series. In addition, an article on Swoopes didn't even grab the headlines on CNNSI and was listed just three spots ahead of the breaking news that a man was arrested after a recent tussle with Tonya Harding...

--The news surrounding Sheryl Swoopes didn't fall on deaf ears, however, as some guy from Star Trek recently made a similar announcement...

--Here's another article that I found somewhat surprising: Woody Allen's marriage has a 'paternal feeling'...
