Game 6...
You can file this next link in the category of people with way too much free time on their hands…Still, it is one of the best links I’ve come across recently, as RBI is my favorite game on the original Nintendo…
Anywho, somebody videotaped an ‘RBI re-enactment’ of the final inning of Game 6 of the 1986 World Series between the Red Sox and Mets (the Bill Buckner game)…Obviously they couldn’t get the ball to roll through Buckner’s legs on the final play of the game, but he does ‘boot’ it…
I have no idea how long it took these guys to put this together, and I really only have one guess as to how they did it, but regardless, it’s pretty impressive…
Finally, be sure to have the sound on if you can, as they’ve even provided Vin Scully’s play-by-play to help you follow along, which I assume is from the original television broadcast...
I’m not sure if the box score at the end of the game is correct, but I wouldn’t doubt it…
So, if you don’t mind wasting 8 minutes of your life—that you’ll never have back—then check out this link…
