On the last play of the Alamo Bowl, I'm pretty sure that the Michigan player (Ecker) who had the ball last and was pushed out of bounds was the same guy who caught the ball on the sideline and stayed in bounds on the last play against Ohio State (and thus letting the clock run out)...

It's hard to say what I would have done in his situation--as things were so crazy at that point I don't know if I could think straight--but if he pitches the ball back to Jason Avant behind him, Michigan probably wins that game...
